Country Hope
Country Hope provides practical, emotional and financial assistance to families caring for a child with cancer of other life threatening illness.
Friends In Common
Friends in Common is a locally based charity supporting cancer patients within the Yarrawonga and Mulwala district communities, providing financial and practical support and assistance.

Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS) NSW
The Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS) is a NSW Government initiative designed to financially assist people, particularly in isolated or rural areas, who have to travel significant distances to access specialist medical treatment which is not available locally.
Kalianna Enterprises Inc
The service provides community transport assistance in Albury and the Shires of Culcairn, Holbrook, Corowa, Hume and surrounding regions.
Leukaemia Foundation
The Leukaemia Foundation can provide people with blood cancer and their families with free courtesy transport to and from treatment.
Red Cross
Red Cross Patient Transport Service provides transport for eligible persons to attend ?essential? hospital and/or specialists appointments in Melbourne and regional areas. Referrals to the service must be submitted by a registered medical practitioner or health professional.

To access the service patients must be:
- Unable to access suitable public transport or live in an area that is remote from public transport
- Unable to drive or be driven by family/friends to appointments;
- Living independently
- Not eligible for a DVA card or other schemes e.g. TAC or Work Cover.
- Able to get in and out of a vehicle with minimal assistance

The Albury Wodonga Cancer Foundation Inc. welcomes patients diagnosed with cancer and their families to this web site which has been designed to provide knowledge and information about cancer in general, and also specific services and support organizations available in Albury Wodonga and surrounding communities.
Transport to Treatment Service - Albury
Need help getting to your cancer related appointments?
Cancer Council NSW can provide transport to cancer related appointments for people affected by cancer and their carers.
Operating 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, the service is offered by referral only on a fist in, first served basis.
This is a free service commencing in August 2016.
Travellers Aid
The Travellers' Aid Society of Victoria is a non-profit, independent organisation, providing a range of services and assistance for travellers, including those with special requirements or in emergency situation.
Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS) VIC
Travel and accommodation subsidy for those required to travel long distances to receive approved medical services. If you need to travel over 100kms to the nearest medical and/or dental specialist, you can claim back some of the travel and accommodation costs.
