The booklet Talking to Kids about Cancer (PDF, 1072 KB) aims to help you to firstly tell your kids about the cancer, and then to keep talking throughout your cancer journey. This information is for anyone who needs to talk to a young person about an adult with cancer.

Can Teen help young people cope with cancer in their family. Through CanTeen, young people learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they've been diagnosed themselves, Can Teen also provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

Country Hope provides practical, emotional and financial assistance to families caring for a child with cancer of other life threatening illness.

The ONTrac at Peter Mac Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Service is a state-wide cancer Service for young people and their families located at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne. The Service provides a range of clinical service for young people, a state-wide secondary consultation service, a professional development, training & education program for healthcare professionals and a comprehensive research program.

Ronald McDonald House is an independent non-profit organisation that provides a range of support to seriously ill children and their families when they need it most.

The Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd provides a variety of services including family  services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Shepparton, Victoria.

Starlight Children's Foundation programs are an essential part of a child's 'total' care. Startlight's work complements traditional medical treatment by helping young people flourish, build resilience and shape their individuality.

Our programs are based on the concept of well being and are about the whole person; not just the treatment of cancer. Our work is underpinned by a social model of health where we believe in not just the absence of cancer but a return to wellness for young adults that takes into account their physical, social and mental well being.

Very Special Kids House provides support to families who have children with a progressive life threatening illness, including respite and palliative care, and to breaved families.
